The Atlanta Condo Market

Atlanta condos are finding more and more appeal as the City of Atlanta expands out in all directions. Increasing traffic congestion, high home prices, long commutes, and too much yard work associated with Atlanta’s McMansions has inspired many to consider an in town Atlanta condo.

The face of the average Atlanta condo buyer has changed dramatically over the years and the reason for owning an Atlanta condo varies even more with each year that passes. For some, owning a condo is still a primary way of obtaining their first home. For others, intown Atlanta Condos are purely an investment built on speculation that the market will provide them with a nice return. As an aging population looks into their future, downsizing to a nice intown Atlanta condo offers many enticing advantages. But recently, more and more homebuyers are looking at buying an intown Atlanta condo as a way to escape from suburbia.

While it is not known just how many Atlanta condo buyers are doing this, there has been a swelling resurgence for in town living due in due in part to the number of attractions that Atlanta previously lacked.

The addition of Atlantic Station offers Atlanta condo buyers shopping, entertainment and attractions just outside the doorstep. The Atlanta Aquarium is not just something to see, but an attraction to visit over and over again. And do not forget that Atlanta is well known outside of Georgia as the culinary heart of the south.
